This page explains what information Trevino's Transmission & Auto collects through this website, why, and what we do with it. We keep this simple on purpose — we're a small local repair shop, not a company that sells or trades in your data.

What we collect

When you use the “Tell us what your car is doing” form on this site, we collect what you type into it: your name, phone number, vehicle information, and a description of the problem. We don't use tracking cookies, ad trackers, or analytics scripts that follow you around the web.

How we use it

We use what you submit for one purpose: to understand what's going on with your vehicle and follow up with you about it. That submission is sent directly to the shop so Jesse can call or text you back. We don't use it for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

Calls and texts

If you give us a phone number, our staff may call or text you directly to follow up on your inquiry or an active repair. These are real messages from real people at the shop, not automated marketing. Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry and any repair in progress. Message and data rates may apply. You can tell us to stop contacting you by that method at any time.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is used only to respond to you about your own vehicle.

Who else sees it

We use ordinary service providers to run this website and get your message to us — for example, our hosting provider and the service that delivers the internal text alert when you submit the form. They process the data only to provide that service to us; they don't use it for their own purposes. We don't share your information with anyone else, and we don't sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and repair information as long as reasonably useful for servicing your vehicle and our own business records, and no longer than that.

Children

This site is meant for adults arranging vehicle repairs. It's not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page with a new date at the top.
