Jesus "Jesse" Trevino
ASE Certified Master Technician. Working on cars since 1985. Opened this shop on South State Street in June 2004.
Everyone calls him Jesse. He answers his own phone, which is usually in his pocket while he's under somebody's dash — so if he doesn't pick up, he'll call you back.
Trevino's is a former United States Postal Service fleet repair facility.

Mynor Bol · Luis Bradley
Luis Bradley has handled general repair here since 2016. If you've been bringing your car here a while, you know him.
Mynor Bol is an apprentice, learning to rebuild transmissions — Jesse is teaching him the way he was taught.
Diagnosis is Jesse's own work. When you bring in something nobody else could figure out, he's the one on it.
What we're best at
Transmissions and electrical diagnosis — and specifically the overlap between them, where a car that looks like it needs a transmission actually needs a wire. Roughly six in ten cars here are transmission work. The rest is ordinary repair for people who've been coming a long time.
Tell us what your car is doing
The more you tell us, the better we can help — and the faster we can tell you whether it's worth your time to bring it in. This form takes a few minutes on purpose.
Jesse reads these on his phone. If it's urgent, call (815) 727-4801 — that's always faster.
